Reviewing and Recipes with Ninja Kitchen System with AUTOIQ
#ninjakitchensystem #ninjakitchensystemreview #kitchenappliancereviews #cookinginthekitchen
#ninja
I recently got this amazing Ninja Kitchen System with AutoIQ and I am really having fun making new recipes and testing it out.
This machine has the power to chop, dice, puree, blend, mix, and so much more. It even turns ice into snow for snow cones.
This is really a kitchen helper all in one. It truly is more powerful than other kitchen appliances. I got rid of my blender, my food processor and my drink mixer and now just use this, takes up less room. I keep the pieces in my island for storage and leave the base out. Makes the counter space bigger and cleaner.

I have made smoothies with the drink blender
Green Strawberry Smoothie
You can mix the ingredients in order and enjoy
3-4 strawberries
1/2 banana
1/4 cup kale
1/4 cup spinach
1/2 scoop protein powder
1 cup milk your choice or water
1 cup ice
you can add other fruits or veggies how you like.
***************************************
I have made cole slaw with the food processor
Celery Seed Slaw
3 pounds medium head cabbage, coarsely shredded
1/2 cup finely shredded carrot
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup sugar
1 cup white vinegar
3 tsp salt
1 tsp celery seed
In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrot, and green pepper. Set aside. In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, vinegar, salt, and celery seed. Bring to a boil. Pour over the cabbage mixture. Toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for four hours or overnight. Serve with a slotted spoon. Yield: 12-16 servings
Hint- I made this once with the precut/shredded cabbage as I thought it was quicker. I found that the cole slaw was a bit tough even sitting overnight. The next time I made it, I shredded my own cabbage- much better! The finer the shred, the better I felt. And it is much better if it sits overnight. Enjoy!

Bleaches Be Crafty T Shirts
#bleachesbecrazy #bleachesbecrafty #bleachedTshirts #bleachingcraze
We do all kinds of custom shirts, clothing, hats, backpacks, and tons of items check us out, like us on Facebook too and follow this blog for more. contact us on facebook for orders. Great prices, wonderful work, discounts on large orders. Nothing to big or too small
I have joined the Bleaching clothes Craze and I am having a blast with it! What to learn how to make bleached shirts read on...Want to buy some designs and blank bleached shirts, read more. I seel designed shirts, clothes and black shirts for you to do your own things.
First you start with shirts you want to bleach and turn into crazy cool designs
These are 100% cotton shirts
I find that the light colors like blues and pink, yellows
bleach faster and turn whiter where bleach is heavy.
Use a cardboard insert or I sometimes put a white trash bag over a hanger then put shirts over the cardboard or hangers.
I mix 3/4 bleach to 1/4 water for most of my bleaching put it in a spray bottle for these.
I have also used the same mixture in a squirt bottle like you see ketchup in dinners.
I have used brushes too, sponge brushes and bristle to brush on bleach
depending on the effect I'm thinking about, No two shirts will ever look exactly alike and that is a good thing I like original artwork.
Then depending on how light you want them to turn out, leave them outside in the sunshine
20 minutes to an hour(1 hour for very dark shirts or when you want them really pale)
NO SUN? That's ok you can do them in a garage with doors open too, or I have even done some in my bathtub with a fan on, then you can use a blow dryer to advance the bleaching.
Actually though they will bleach on their own, well most brands, it's all a trail and error on the types and brands of shirts here.
I watch them, or at least check them every 10 minutes
until I like how they look Then I pull them off the cardboard or hangers, put them in a bucket and take them in to the kitchen sink to rinse in cold water.
After a good rinse, I put them in the washer, on hot to warm wash, add a little soap
and do a double rinse cycle and wait.
Then Dry in the dryer on a medium low setting.
Walla These two are ready to wear or design.
You can spray, sprinkle, dropplets, brush, splotch
You name it.
The orange turned fast
This purple didn't turn pink at all, some purples get tinges of pinks which is cool too
This is navy blue
love the aged vintage look
Black gets a really brown to beige vintage look
and this purple is so pretty
*************************************************
Now for designs I have done.
back to school is cool
new fall shirts and more
If you don't want to mess with all the bleaching, then let me do it for you
No two shirts exactly alike

They love these and I have more flavors coming. Will be taking orders for these too.
They make great gifts for your dog lovers So if you don't have time, let me make you several orders for your family and friends. Find me on Facebook to order and Follow my page and more.

3/4 cup natural, organic peanut butter
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1 large egg
cookie cutter (varying sizes, optional)

Preheat oven to 350ยบ F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl or mixer, beat together peanut butter and pumpkin puree until smooth and creamy.
Beat in the egg until it is fully incorporated.
Alternately add flour and water to peanut butter mixture, beginning and ending with the flour. Beat until dough begins to come together and is no longer too sticky.
Turn dough out on a lightly floured surface and knead for 2 minutes, or until fully formed into a ball.
Roll dough out to 1/4-1/2-inch thickness and use your cookie cutter(s) to cut out desired shapes and amounts of treats.

Remove from oven and let cool completely—then treat your pup to a snack!
Animal and Human Pain Salve
This is Lacey
Sadly we were told one of our dogs in our family has cancer and wasn't expected to live more than 2 weeks. Well although she is very frail now, she doesn't seem to be in severe pain and has outlived the 2 weeks now. I have made her a pain salve that I apply to her though just to help. It seems to help swelling and her appetite goes up and down. They gave us steroids to use and we tried them for a few days but decided to stop because they seem to cause problems. I have also made her dog biscuits that she likes. Trying to make her life more happy even if it has been shortened by rotten cancer cells. If anyone has any other things they have used please share. This is our little girl, we love her dearly, she is a shih tzu, 6 years old,. way to young for this to happen.
DIY Fido's Boo-Boo Balm (FOR DOGS ONLY)
Don't have all the essential oils called for in this recipe? This salve is safe to use on cats if the essential oils are omitted!
I actually use this salve as well, it seems to help with pain that I suffer from as well.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 cup Magic Healing Herbal Infused Oil (or simply use unrefined coconut oil)
1/4 cup unrefined shea butter
1/4 cup beeswax pastilles
5 drops MRH palmarosa essential oil or PT palmarosa eo
8 drops MRH lavender essential oil or PT lavender eo
2 drops MRH Roman chamomile essential oil or PT Roman chamomile eo
5 drops MRH geranium essential oil or PT geranium eo
DIRECTIONS
In a double boiler (or your pyrex measuring cup in a pan with about an inch of water in it) melt the Magic Healing Herbal Infused Oil, beeswax, and shea butter together.
Once completely melted, remove from heat and add the essential oil blend. Stir until completely combined.
Pour into (4) 2 oz. metal tins to share or take on the go. Pour into (1) 8 oz. mason jar container to use all for yourself.
If stored in a cool dark location, this salve will keep for 9 months to a year.
TO USE
Apply to CLEAN wounds, cuts, dry skin/paw pads, hot spots, bites/stings, rashes, burns, and more. If your dog is prone to licking wounds, you might want to put the cone of shame on them for serious wounds, to help them heal faster. This salve is safe to be licked in small amounts.

A natural antibacterial owie cream just for dogs
When dogs get hurt, just like humans, they need proper cleaning and wound care to keep the wound free from infection. Many vets would simply hand you an antibacterial cream to apply to the wound, much like that of Neosporin, but I am always trying to avoid the use of products containing antibiotics in them, so I created a natural antibacterial owie cream just for dogs! I call it my Fido's Boo-Boo Balm! The great things about this salve, for dogs, is that it is so universal that you can use it for all sorts of issues, including:
cuts/scrapes/open wounds
bites/stings
dry skin
dry/cracked paw pads
rashes
hot spots
burns
fungal infections

Using a cricut to make Canister Labels
#cricutprojects #craftingmylife #kitchenpantrydecorate #cricutvinyllabels #craftingmylifeaway
#ilovetocraftwithmycricut #ilovetocraft
Find me on Facebook at Cheryl's Cooking and Crafting at Home here, go LIKE and FOLLOW my blog here for more creative crafts and cooking.
Well I finally sat down and created some new labels for my Canisters and I will show you how easy it is to make.
These are pretty and handy and my canisters didn't cost much either and are very air tight, I love them better than high dollar ones that I have had and got rid of because the lids weren't secure or handy when using. After break one of my favorite sets I decided to use these for real life and I'm so glad I found them. So I just got byou usy and personalized them up and I really like them in my pantry.
Here is what you will need:
Set of Canisters-you can put vinyl on anything so be my guest and use what you like.
Some permanent or removable vinyl-I used permanent on these but you can use either, removable is nice if you plan to change them.
A Cricut or other cutting machine-I have a Maker and an Expression and both work great.
Scissors-for trimming vinyl before attaching to canisters
Wooden spoon or cricut tools-I have both but as you will see today I used a wooden spoon from my kitchen.
Clear contact paper from dollar store or walmart-to stick your vinyl on to apply to canisters, keep things in place and straight.
Wipes-to clean canisters before applying vinyl
How to make the labels
First you will need to set up your cutting machine to cut out all the labels, this took me awhile to decide on the font I wanted to use. You can make them script or standard font set, go from a Rae Dun if you like that to a fancy script. I'm in between and picked a large easy to read bold font for this.
Set up all the names of what is in your canisters-I have a lot of canisters so this took awhile to set up but they will make my canisters all match and easy to find what I need.
After cutting all the words for labels cut them apart word for word, I cut mine in exact word form so they wouldn't cut in letter order only, remember to weld the words to make that easy, or you will have a big mess of just letters and arranging them in word order will take forever and difficult to keep in straight lines for placement.
Nest time to clean canisters-either wash them if they are new, or clean off the sides and top of each canister and let dry.
Next cut a sheet of the clear contact paper big enough for the biggest word you have for your canisters. Then I always take my piece of contact paper and stick it to a smooth clean kitchen towel, not terry or a t-shirt will work too, even jeans, to take off some of the extra sticky on the contact paper so the words don't stick too well, this makes it easier to transfer from the sheet to the canister or any item you want to put the words on.
Now it's time to get each word ready to apply to canister, lay each word on your sheet of clear contact paper rub the word onto the clear contact paper firmly, I use a wooden spoon for this. You will peel off the backing paper from the word at a 90 degree angle, this takes a little time to get it down working right so be patient and if you don't get it just keep working at it, go slow, peeling slow, if the letters still want to stick to the vinyl sheet you can carefully with tweezers or a fingernail and press it down to the clear sheet to help it peel.
Now you're going to want to line the contact paper up to where you are going to place it on the canister. Press firmly and again rub with your spoon or cricut tool to get it placed and smooth any air bubbles out and get it on firmly. Then peel off the clear contact paper slowly and again smooth by hand or tool each letter to make sure they are smooth.
There you have a new canister labeled and ready for your pantry or shelf. So pretty, make them in any color and you can get fancy with some outlines or curls if you like.
