Having mesmerizing, expressive eyes is a natural trait for a few of us, I admit I have beautiful eyes and always hear that from all kinds of people, and I know it is every woman’s dream and one of the reasons behind the existence of decorative cosmetics. When trying to visually reshape your eyes, makeup is your best ally as long as you keep in mind that black and dark colors make the eye look smaller. If you wish to optically enlarge your eyes add eye shadows beginning at the inner corner and working outward eventually using darker tones as you near the outer corner. Use lighter and darker nuances of the same color for best results.





Step one – the choice





Select a light neutral color of shades. For example, walnut or honey color for darker skin and gray tones for a paler complexion.





Step two – defining the guidelines





Look in the mirror and using your finger as a guideline place it horizontally to the point where the peak of the fold of your lid meets the brow bone. Add eye shadows only to the area below your finger.





Step three – the method





The brush that you use to apply eye shadow should be soft and flat. Apply shadows with horizontal strokes following the guideline of your finger.





Step four – application





You can paint outside the boundaries of your eye toward the outer corner, but keep within the guidelines determined by your finger. Blend all nuances smoothly to avoid creating contrast and looking like a clown.





Step five – the finishing touch

There should be no great difference where the eye shadows end and the skin on your temples begins. If there is a contrast, do your best to blend the shades as close to your skin as possible. If you do this right, you will create the illusion of bigger and wider eyes.

If you’ve never tried a smoky eye, it may be time to add this smoldering look into your makeup arsenal. Not only is the smoky eye sexy, it has the power to take off years from your face. To really look younger, use cream shadows instead of powders because they won’t settle into fine lines, says Amy Nadine, Proactiv makeup artist.

Smoky eye made simple
First, use a cream-colored eye shadow to highlight your brow bone. Don’t worry if you haven’t had time to groom your brows recently. “It gives you an instant, fresh waxed look,” says Norma Blaqe of Norma Blaqe Studios in Los Angeles.

After you’ve applied color to your lids (silver, brown, and purple are popular choices for smoky eyes), line the inner rim of your eyes with black liner for a smoky, smudgy finish and to really make your eye color stand out. You can also apply false lashes for even more dramatic effect.

Keep the rest of your makeup natural
Since you’re applying such intense, dark colors on your eyes, opt for soft blush and a nude lip so you don’t end up looking like a clown.

When it comes to blush, apply right under your cheek bone and blend in at the corners, advises Blaqe. Switch from powder to cream blush to avoid makeup from settling into lines or wrinkles, says Nadine, who likes Maybelline’s Dream Bouncy Blush. “Avoid blushes and bronzers with too much shimmer as they will only draw attention to any fine lines,” she explains.

Ever tried a Jello Shot?? Well go easy when you do, they taste like candy with a pop but they can rock you over pretty fast.
Here is our complete Jello shot list, all in one post, or at least complete up to this point. I haven't come across any more that have made the cut yet, so for now I give you this. A grand total of 70 Jello Shot recipes!!! Complete with the Jager Bomb, Jagermonster & Jagermaster!


1. *JAGER BOMB* boil 1 cup red bull (in place of water), add black cherry or orange jello, 1 cups jager.

2. *MARGARITA* boil 1 cup water, add 3 oz pkg lime jello, 4 oz tequila, 4 oz sweet & sour margarita mix. sprinkle with salt just before firm.
(substitue watermelon jello for lime for a melon margarita)

3. *RUM & COKE boil 1 cups coke, mix in dark cherry jello add 1 cups light rum

4. *MIMOSAS* this one varies from the normal method Since champagne isn't as strong as liquor, cut the water out of this one. boil one cup champagne, mix orange jello 2 min, add one more cup champagne and a splash of OJ.

5. *SILK* Boil one cup champagne, mix in jello for 2 minutes, add one cup champagne and splash of lychee juice from the can.

36. *DEVILS KISS* 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 envelope of Knox Gelatin and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/4 cup of cold water, 1/2 cup of Goldschlager, and 1/4 cup of Bacardi-151. Stir well and wait until the liquid has cooled before pouring into jello shot cups. if you double up the Knox Gelatin in this one you can eliminate the cup serve these up as jigglers!!

37. *ANKLE BREAKER* 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 envelope of Lime Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water, 1/4 cup of 151 Rum, and 1/4 cup of Cherry Brandy. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

38. *FIRECRACKER 2* 3/4 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Orange Jello and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/4 cup of cold water, 1/3 cup of Sloe Gin , and 1/3 cup of Spiced Rum and 1/3 cup of 151 Rum. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cup

39. **KOMANIWANALAYA** 2 cups of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Pineapple Jello and 1 box of Cranberry Jello (both 3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water, 1/2 cup of Amaretto, and 1/2 cup of 151 Rum. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

40. *RAIN MAIN* 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Orange Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/4 cup of cold water, 1/2 cup of Bacardi 151, and 1/4 cup of Melon Liqueur. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups

41. *ADAM AND EVE* 3/4 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Lemon Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water, 1/4 cup of Brandy, and 1/4 cup of Pomogranate Liqueur and 1/4 cup of Gin. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

42. *ALABAMA SLAMMER* 3/4 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 package of Lemon Jello (3 oz) and stir until everything is completely dissolved and then add 1/3 cup of coldwater. Next, add 1/3 cup of Amaretto, 1/4 cup of Southern Comfort, and 1/3 cup of Sloe Gin. Mix throuroughly until everything is well combined and the carefully pour into jello shot cups. Chill for 3 to 4 hours and serve.

43. *ALL NIGHTER* 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Cherry Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water and 1/2 cup of Watermelon Vodka. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

44. *APPLE PIE* 1 1/2 cups ofboiling water. Dissolve 2 boxes of Lemon Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water, 1/2 cup of Light Rum, 1/2 cup of Sweet Vermouth, 1/4 cup of Apple Brandy and 1/4 cup ofGrenadine. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

45. *BANANA BOAT* 1 cup of water. Dissolve 1 box of Pineapple Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water, 1/4 cup of Coconut Rum , and 1/4 cup of Banana Liqueur. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

46. *BANANA SPLIT 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Strawberry Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/4 cup of cold water, 1/4 cup of Vodka, and 1/4 cup ofBanana Liqueur and 1/4 cup of Creme de Cacao. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

47. *BAT OUT OF HELL* 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 package of Orange Jello (3 oz) and stir for at least 2 minutes until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of Red Bull, 1/4 cup of Rumand 1/4 Blue Curacao. Stir until well combined and cool before pouring into jello shot cups.

48. *BERMUDA TRIANGLE* 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 box of Orange Jello (3 oz size) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/2 cup of cold water, 1/4 cup of Spiced Rum and 1/4 cup of Peach Schnapps. Stir well and cool before pouring into jello shot

49. *BLACK CAT* 1 cup of boilingwater. Dissolve 1 package of Raspberry Jello (3 oz) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/4 cup of cold water, 1/2 cup of Black Vodka, and 1/4 cup of Chambord. Stir well and wait until the liquid is about room temperature before pouring into jello shot cups.

50. *BLACK WIDOW* 1 cup of boiling water. Dissolve 1 package of Grape Jello (3 oz) and stir until fully dissolved. Add 1/4 cup of cold water, 3/4 cup of Blackberry Vodka and 1/8 teaspoon of Ginger Powder. Stir well and cool slightly before pouring into jello shot cups. For a schnazzy garnish, drop a singleblackberry in each cup before chilling

58. *LETHAL INJECTION* 2 cups of boiling water. Dissolve 1 package of Orange Jello (3 oz) and 1 package ofPineapple Jello (3 oz) and stir at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved. Add 1 cup of cold water followed by 1/4 cup of Amaretto, 1/4 cup of Coconut Rum, 1/4 cup of Dark Rum and 1/4 cup of Spiced Rum. Years ago they had shrink art plastic, do your remember that? It was so much fun, I liked making things with it, made all kinds of decorations and the kids had fun with it too. Do they still sell anything like that I wonder?
I will have to look, because this would be so creative, I have a fish bowl that needz a new pet, and feeding and cleaning aren't on my to do list.

Our Faux Fish are from Playing by the Book (playingbythebook.net), a blog about children's books and related crafts and activities. This project was inspired by One Smart Fish, by Chris Wormell.

You Will Need:

Paper and pencil
Thin plastic (we used clamshell- type food containers)
Permanent markers
Needle and thread
Glass beads (ours are about 1/3 inch wide)
Bubble wrap
Fishbowl or tank
Stones and shells

Step 1

Sketch a few fish shapes on paper, then lay the thin plastic on top. Trace the drawings with black permanent marker.

Step 2

When the ink is dry, cut out the fish. The plastic is prone to splitting during cutting, so keep the shapes simple.

Step 3

Color in the other side of the plastic fish with permanent markers. (Coloring on the side with the black outline will smear the ink.) Let the ink dry.

Step 4

Pull the needle and thread through a bead, then through a fish's mouth. Remove the needle and tie the thread ends together in a loop that's 1 1/2 to 5 inches from bead to fish. Repeat for the other fish.

Step 5

Cut strips of bubbles from the bubble wrap, taking care to keep the bubbles intact. Sew a strip to the top of each fish's mouth. Fill the fishbowl with water, then add your fish. Cover the bottom of the bowl with more beads, and stones and shells.

Homemade Bouncy Balls

Kids always need something to do and play with, the toddlers will have fun with these

and the older kids can help make them

2 cups
Measuring spoons
A stir stick
2 tbsp hot water
1/2 tsp borax
1 tbsp glue
1 tbsp corn starch
Food coloring (optional)

Pour the water and borax into the first cup and stir the mixture until it is dissolved.

Pour the glue, cornstarch and food coloring into the second cup and mix. Then add the mixture from the first cup into the second cup.

Let the ingredients sit for 15 seconds then stir.

Once the mixture becomes difficult to stir, scoop it out of the cup, and roll into a ball. Enjoy!!!
