DIY Dollar Tree Ornament Hanger Wreath

This wreath is so pretty, it doesn't take a lot of expensive items, it takes just a bit of time and it is absolutely beautiful hanging up. You can make one too and on a budget.

What you need:
Wire Coat Hanger
Packages of plastic ornaments(I used 7 tubes)
A few extra decorations(I used large bells and 3 large silver ornaments)
Ribbon to make bow, or premade bow

First you will want to take all your ornaments out of their packages and pop off the hanger top, then I glued each one on as it helps them hold on the hanger outside in the wind
Unwrap the hanger and try to straighten it as much as you can or you will be twisting the ornaments
around slowly onto the hanger which is what I ended up doing.
To make slip ornaments onto wire hanger one by one, rotating as you go and letting them slide together closely (this is the fun part) Be patient letting them slide together gently and it's fun fitting them together
Once they are fully stacked on the hanger, twist the hanger close with pliers
and I squeeze the hanger hook over into a close loop
Attach bow and or some seasonal trims and hang it up.
Be sure to take a picture to share your work.

I also make these to sell, so you can contact me to make one for you and it will be amazing hanging on your door.

DIY Fall Pumpkin Trio

I am so ready for FALL YA'll

Getting started decorating with a Fall touch. I went to Dollar Tree and found these pumpkins in bright Halloween Orange, so I bought a few, brought them home and starting thinking.

I painted with left over chalk paint, you could also use acrylic but it seems harder to get it to stick so will take more coats to cover and be careful before they dry and are coated several coats they want to scratch easily and gave them a light sheen, stacked them with spanish moss between and to top them off, Hot glued the moss on between layers of pumpkins, easily stacked them up and placed them on a cute candle holder, you can glue it to the holder but I just used some tacky Loctite fun tak so I can reuse the candle holder I added a pumpkin stem saved and dried from last year. See it is a good thing to be a bit of a craft hoarder, the old stem had lifted right off an old pumpkin last fall so I thought Hmm why not dry this and save it I'm sure I'll find a use for it, and walla I sure did. Yes you can dry them out and save them. It looks so much more realistic than tree limbs. I love this. You can do colors you like to match your decor.

It's always good to keep things you never know what you're going to need #crafthoarder #ilovecrafting #neverthrowitaway

Have fun crafting!

Air Fryer Oven

This is an Air Fryer Oven
I have read about these, and been wanting one for awhile now.

This week I decided to jump onto the Air Fryer Oven train, so I will be testing, writing, and posting
new recipes to use with an Air Fryer Oven.
I usually wait a little bit to buy new things, let them get the kinks out of the first editions and then buy one, and read up on models and makes.

What is an Air Fryer? Wikipedia:An air fryer is a kitchen appliance that cooks by circulating hot air around the food using the convection mechanism.[1] A mechanical fancirculates the hot air around the food at high speed, cooking the food and producing a crispy layer via the Maillard effect.
Traditional frying methods induce the Maillard effect by completely submerging foods in hot oil. The air fryer works by coating the desired food in a thin layer of oil while circulating air heated up to 200 °C (392 °F) to apply heat and initiate the reaction.[2] By doing this, the appliance is able to fry foods like potato chipschickenfishsteakcheeseburgersfrench fries or pastries using 70% to 80% less oil than a traditional deep-fryer.[3]
Most air fryers have temperature and timer adjustments that allow more precise cooking. Food is cooked in a cooking basket that sits atop a drip tray. The basket and its contents must be periodically shaken to ensure even oil coverage. Some models accomplish this by incorporating a food agitator that continuously churns the food during the cooking process, while others require the user to perform the task manually.[2]
Air fryers are attractive for their convenience, safety, and health benefits. A chip pan for example, with its traditionally open top, can easily allow hot droplets of cooking oil to escape or splash out on the user, which is not possible with an air fryer. Traditionally deep fried foods are much higher in caloric content due to oil absorption during their preparation.[citation needed] It is generally agreed that the taste and consistency of foods cooked by traditional fried and air fried techniques are not identical.[3][4]

Fall Cabin by the Lake

This is my latest Oil Painting "Fall Cabin by the Lake" it is a fall inspired artwork done in rich oils.
I love to paint in most mediums, oils are one of my favorites. They take time to dry, yes, but the best part of that fact is that they let you work, and come back and work on them as you have time and are inspired. Such good qualities. Everyone should have artwork done in oil paints in their homes.
It is a relaxing destressing hobby.  I love painting landscapes, nature, flowers, animals all.
I have been commissioned to do several different ones over the years. This is just a beginning of a series of the "Seasons" I will be doing now.
For more information on buying one of my paintings you can email me or find me on Facebook
