How to Make a Poison Ivy Costume
Poison
Ivy is one of the sexiest Batman villains of all time
This outfit has many
uses can be reused for Ceremonies for us Pagans
For the
Hair
Poison Ivy is known for
her Deep Red Hair but you can also go with Green Hair as
well
Buy a red wig or use
hair dye to dye your hair red.
Body
Purchase
a cheap green leotard, bodysuit, or swimsuit, along with 30 or so fake ivy
leaves. (You can buy the leaves at any craft store such as Michael's.) Using a
needle and thread, sew the leaves onto the leotard in a pattern that resembles
climbing ivy. In the comics, the ivy covered her entire middle, from her top to
her hose. You can emulate that look if you wish, but it will take more than 30
leaves; patterns of climbing ivy work just as well if you don't have as many
leaves.
Hose and
Gloves
Buy a pair of green
panty hose and a pair of short gloves that match the hose's shade of green. In
the comics, Poison Ivy's gloves reached about midway down her forearm, but you
can make them longer or shorter if you wish. Some experts suggest purchasing
cheap white hose and gloves, then using green dye to color them. This allows you
to match their colors more precisely.
Boots
Purchase a pair of green
boots or short green shoes. Ideally, they should have a "V" pattern on top,
similar to boots worn by Peter Pan. These are not necessary. Any green boots
will do just fine. Use spray paint to color them green if they aren't green
already.
