I have a brother SE-400 Embroidery Machine and I do use it a lot.
So I thought I'd share with you, a project I made today. I make embroidery designed clothing and sell these locally and I have a FB Page that is listed below as well. Please go LIKE it and contact me for information on orders.I am making shirts for 2 of my grand daughters for Valentine's Day and have some tshirts and onesies for sale as well for Valentine's Day and many others.
Materials needed
a tshirt or item you want to emboider design onto
embroidery thread, I used a bright pink and white for my design, it's important to use thread made for embroidery machines.
stabalizer backing-for this project I used non fuseable backing because these shirts cannot be ironed
You will need an embroidery machine, mine is a brother SE-400
First off I took this embroidery design
next I set up my machine put the first color thread I want to use and get your item you will be working on stretched firmly into your embroidery hoop.
be sure it is pulled tight, and in place just where you want the area to put the design in.then tighten your hoop.
Then begin sewing with the machine, making sure to keep the extra fabric pulled back around the hoop, with tshirts this can be tricky sometimes it wants to pop up around the needle as the machine sews, so you can't leave this as it works or you will have a mess
always make sure your stabalizer fabirc is under the item you are working on if it's not fuseable.
The finished tshirt design
Now I can add a tutu and a big bow (my grand daughter's Mommy makes both) and the outfit will be complete
